オードリー若林の旅行記。
もはや若林さんとちゃんと呼ぶべき作家さんかと思いました。
キューバでは「命を使って生きる」ことの大事さを、自分が苦しんでいたのは、日本の「世間」という名の信仰であったこと、そして、彩り豊かに生きていくためには「血の通った関係と没頭」がカギだということを旅行を通じて気づいていく。
何となく、味気のない世界で、無気力に、でもさほど不幸でもなく生きている人たちみんなに何となく漂っているであろう違和感。それが何なのか、離れることではっきりし、言語化したこの作品。読めば何か見つかります。
都会の生活に何の違和感も感じず、享受することが当たり前の権利と思っているような人には、読んでも特に思うことはないかもしれません。

He reached several findings through the trip.
Foe example, he found the importance of 'using life to live' in Cuba.
He found people are struggling with society as a religion.
He found the key to live a colorful life is 'real relationship and immersion'.
I guess many people feel helpless and colorlessness in their everyday life. They are not so unhappy but often feel unsatisified. If you want to know what it is, it is verbalized by this book.
On the other hand, if you don't feel anything above, you may not see anything even after finishing reading the book.
