ナナメの夕暮れ

読みました。

若林さんと僕は７つくらい年が違うでしょうか。その分、少し先の世界を見せてもらえている気がします。なんでもナナメに見ていたけど、それを正面に見るようになってきた若林さんを知ることができて、自分は、そのようにちゃんと脱皮できるだろうかと考えさせられつつ、脱皮した世界も良さそうだなと感じさせてくれるところもありました。

個別の感想も少しずつ書いて行きたいと思います。

He is probably older than me by 7 ages.

Due to it, he seems to let me see what the world has in store in years to come. In recent years, he has come to look at the world from the right position, standing in front of it even though he had look at things from differnt standpoints.

The change that has happened to him made me think about whether I can be like him at the age and made me feel that the world will be nice  if I can be like him .

プエルトリコが舞台の映画。

なんというか、映画全体から醸し出される雰囲気がなんとも、煙たくて、暑くて、行ったことがなくても、その場にいるような気がします。

This is the movie shooted at Pueru to Rico.

The atmosphere you can feel when you see the movie is so hot and smoky that you can feel like you were there.

アオヤマ君のお父さんの言葉が心に残ったひとも多いのではないでしょうか。

僕にとっては、

世界の果てが外側にあるとは限らない。袋を裏返すと外側が内側になる。

と言って巾着袋を裏返すところが面白かったです。

 

なぜかと考え直してみると、

自分が外界を見ているとき、それは実は自分の内部を見ているのかもしれない、と思ったからです。

あの人は怖い、と思ったとします。それは客観的に100%の人がそういう判断をすることはないでしょう。

自分の内部にその人を怖いと感じる「何か」があるのだと思います。

その「何か」がわかれば、なぜその人を怖いと思うのかが分かる。

 

どうやって「何か」が分かるのか。分かっていたとして克服できるのか。

それは対話なのかな？と思います。

だけどそれをどう伝えるか？難しいですね。。。

In particular,

Saying this, he turned the small bag inside out.

Why was it interesting for me?

I thought of that.

Perhaps when you look at the physical world thorough your eyes,  you may look at your mental world. This was my viewpoint.

For instance, imagine someone that scares you in your workplace.

But, it is not necessarily 100% true in objective tems becase objective judgement on human beings is impossible.

So, you probably feel something that make you scared.

If you find out the something, you will see what scares you.

Here, how can you figure out the something?

Even if you see what it is, how can you overcome it.

This can be done thruough conversation.

Also, how do you deliver the person, this is another matter.

変わらないための変わり続ける（福岡伸一）

獲得形質は遺伝するのかという項がとても面白かったです。

「獲得形質」というのは後天的な学習の成果や鍛錬の結果のことで

これまでの進化論においては、次世代に継承されないもの、とされてきました。

それが現代の科学の世界では獲得形質の継承の可能性があるというこれまでの理論を覆す議論があるようです。

実験では、マウスを対象として、特定の臭いに対し電気ショックを与えました。

その結果そのマウスが特定の臭いを感じた時に拒否反応を起こすだけでなく、

特定の臭いを感じる敏感さが次世代に遺伝された結果が出たとのことです。

 

これはとても面白い現象だと思いました。

なぜ、人が皆同じ教育、文化で育ったとしても異なって育つのか。

それは、それぞれの個人が受ける刺激に対する敏感さが異なるからではないか、と思います。

つまり、人それぞれの育ち方に、祖先の生存戦略が見えているのではないでしょうか。

例えば、人の顔色を窺ってばかりいる人、いつも偉そうにしている人、いるのではないでしょうか。

それぞれにそうやって生きることが生存戦略として望ましいと判断して生きてきたのかもしれません。

だから、何も間違っていることはないですが、自分にはどのような点に関して人と比べて感度が高いのか、

あるいは低いのか、意識しておくと、過大な反応をすることなく、少し生きやすくなるんではないかな、

と思います。

 

あるいは、その感度の調整が難しいのであれば、どのような環境に身を置けば

自分が過度にストレスを感じることなく生きられるのか、ということを考える指針になるのではないか、

と思います。

 

まだまだ続きが楽しみです。

 

Are acquired characters inherited?

Acquired characters are the learnings and the results of practice you have got in your life.

It is theoretically said that it is not inherited to the next generation.

However, the modern science may explode the established theory.

 

In the experiment, a mouse is given a specific smell with electrical shock.

It comes to show rejection against the smell.

And surprisingly, the sensitivity of the smell was inherited to the next generation.

 

I thought that this was an interesting phenomenon.

Why do people grow up in a different way even though they are brought up in the same environment.

That is partly because they individually have different sensitivities for different stimulations exposed on them.

To put it another way, the way of growing up indicates their ancestors' survival strategies.

 

For example, you can see who are always looking at faces of other persons or who is pretending to be someone.

Perhaps they have judged that the way of living was desirable to survive.

In this regard, you can live your life with nothing wrong.

At the same time, keep in mind that you have some sensitivity on some point and some insensitivity on some point.

This is something you can be aware of.

By doing so, you may live your life easily because you don’t need to react excessively.

 

Or, if you are struggling to modify the sensitivity, you can change environment.

You can see what environment will fit you well if you know what your sensitivity is like.

This can lead you to living with less stress and in mental health.

王様のためのホログラム

 見ました。

一時間半と気軽に見やすい映画でした。

トムハンクスは超大作の出演もありますが、こういったヒューマンドラマの出演もケッッこう多いですね。個人的にトムハンクスはとても好きで、どんな役柄でもできるところが魅力的に感じます。

この作品では、アメリカからサウジアラビアにホログラムを使ったIT技術の導入をすすめるプロジェクトマネージャーとをえんじています。

サウジアラビアという、言葉も宗教も違うところに飛び込み、ビジネスを進めていく姿は、海外での仕事の苦労をよく表現していると感じます。経験のある人は共感できるところも多いのではないでしょうか。経験がない人でも、自分だったらこんなときどうするだろう、という風にみると面白いかもしれません。

この作品のもう一つのテーマは愛のあり方です。背中に腫瘍のできたトムハンクスは病院で女医と出会い、親交を深めていきます。共にバツイチで愛は柔軟で自由なものなのだと感じさせてくれました。

ビジネス的なところと、ヒューマンドラマの両面をバランスよく描いていて、よく構成された映画だと思いました。一方で、バランスの良いことがかえって、この作品の印象を薄くしてしまったかな、とも感じました。もっと愛を描く方を重点的にしていれば、もっと違った印象になったのではないかと思います。

原作の小説があるようなので、読んで見たいと思っています。

This movie is starred by Tom Hanks, who has been playing a variety of movies ranging from super famous movie to decent sized movies.  He is able to play any character very well, which attracts me.

In this movie, he played American company's manager who was going to introduce IT such hologram into a new city in Saudiarabia.  It seemed to depict well what business in other countries looks like, where reigion, culture, language and any other things are different from your own country.  If you are a business man working abroad, you may be able to feel empathy.  If you are not, you can imagine 'how am I going to do if I'm in the situation same with him?'  That would be interesting.

Another theme underlying the movie is the way of love.  He had  a tomour on his back, which brought him to the hospital and the oppotunity to meet a female doctor.  Through the communication, they deepend their love.  They both were once divorced and their love looks like they respect each other and understand each other as a person regardless their region, culture and background.  Love is free and flecibe.

Overall, the balance between business and human drama is very good and well organized from the start to the end.  However, it makes itself less impressive in turn. If it focused on one side, for example human drama, it would give us more different impression.

面白かったです。

わかっているけれど出来ていないこと、心がけるべきことを思い出させてくれる本だと思います。

・嫌な相手には、華を持たせていい気分になってもらう。相手の力を利用してメリットを実現する。

・相手の行動・発言に瞬時に反応しない。

・口にしたり、書いたりすることですっきりする（ただし、自分のノートなどに書く）

・優秀になるにはできる人間に囲まれる。

・日記を書く

特に、自分が出来ていないのは、嫌な相手をうまく使うこと。大事だとわかっていてもめんどくさいと顔に出てしまいます。まず、関わらないようにするというのが最大の自衛だとは思いますが、いつでもそうできるとは限りません。このような場合にうまく立ち回れるようにするということは、自分を社会の中で生かしていくためにも重要なのだと思います。

IT／イット “それ”が見えたら、終わり。

スティーブン・キング原作だそうです。

そう思ってみると、確かに、「スタンドバイミー」のように、夏休みの子供達の冒険の要素が入っていて、子供達が経験を通じて、次のステップに進む様子をみることが出来ます。

２時間を超える長さの映画でしたが、ドキドキさせられながら楽しんでみることが出来ました。

I have haerd that  this movie is originate from Steven King's novel.  He writes a lot of interesting books and  that's why it made me interested in the movie.

Taking into account this was from his book, I think you can see there are some of the elements that have in common with 'stand by me', which is one of the greatest movie cominig from his books.  One of the similarity is children's experience in the summer holiday.  They get thorugh events together, which enlighten them something important in their lives.

Also, I thought this made me worried becase it is longer than two hours and will bore me, but actually it didn't.  It kept me excited by nice story telling and didn't release me whole the time.

納得させる話力 (双葉文庫)

読みました。

芸人の方は本当に努力されているな、と思いました。やはりトークで人を笑わせて、それで食べているわけですから、必死ですよね。お笑い芸人になりたい人が何万人もいる中で安定してポジションを確保するというのはかなりストレスのかかる仕事だろうと思います。

土田さんはそれを理詰めで出来た、稀有な存在だと思います。こういう人は笑いをとりたい、という気持ちだけではなく、もっと目的思考でお笑いという仕事と向き合っているのだと思います。つまり、何でもかんでも笑いを取ろうとするんではなくて、出るべきところで出て、笑いをとって、番組全体のバランスを取ろうとしているのだと思います。そういった俯瞰的な目線で笑いを作ろうとしているのだと思いました。そしてそれをすることで、土田さんを使う側も使いやすくなるし、土田さんとしても自分のいるべきポジションを確保しようとしているのだと思います。

I was really impressed by his effort in the work.  Comedians make people laugh to make living and so they have to be desperate to get them laugh.  There are tens of thousands of people that want to be a comedian and in such a competitive emvironment, he has his position, so keeping the position would be really stressfull as far as I imagine.

He is a rare person that was able to save his position with a logical apporoach.  He is probably face his work with concrete pourpose, not just want to get laugh.  I would say he is trying to balance a whole pragram by making laugh where there should be laugh.  This need an objectiv view point.  By getting this view point, he can get employed by producers of the programs because he is predictable and easy to use.  And this leads him to saving his position he is supposed to be.

邦題は知りませんでしたが、 捨てるばっかりの話でもなかったような。。。訳すとしたら、「彼はそこまであなたに気がないわよ」くらいでしょうか？いろんな男女の恋愛をパラレルに描いていて、テンポよく、また気楽に見れる良い映画だな、と思いました。何よりも、スカーレット・ヨハンソンが出ているだけでみる価値があると思います。

I didn't know what the title is in Japnese.  I didn't feel like this is not only about girls that throw their boy away.  There were break up and  at the same time getting along and getting married.  

There were several stories that go along pararelly, which gave the good tempo and gave a relaxing mood.  

More than anything, Scarlet Johanson is the one that makes me feel like this is worth watching.  Very beautiful.
