納得させる話力 (双葉文庫)

芸人の方は本当に努力されているな、と思いました。やはりトークで人を笑わせて、それで食べているわけですから、必死ですよね。お笑い芸人になりたい人が何万人もいる中で安定してポジションを確保するというのはかなりストレスのかかる仕事だろうと思います。

土田さんはそれを理詰めで出来た、稀有な存在だと思います。こういう人は笑いをとりたい、という気持ちだけではなく、もっと目的思考でお笑いという仕事と向き合っているのだと思います。つまり、何でもかんでも笑いを取ろうとするんではなくて、出るべきところで出て、笑いをとって、番組全体のバランスを取ろうとしているのだと思います。そういった俯瞰的な目線で笑いを作ろうとしているのだと思いました。そしてそれをすることで、土田さんを使う側も使いやすくなるし、土田さんとしても自分のいるべきポジションを確保しようとしているのだと思います。

I was really impressed by his effort in the work. Comedians make people laugh to make living and so they have to be desperate to get them laugh. There are tens of thousands of people that want to be a comedian and in such a competitive emvironment, he has his position, so keeping the position would be really stressfull as far as I imagine.

He is a rare person that was able to save his position with a logical apporoach. He is probably face his work with concrete pourpose, not just want to get laugh. I would say he is trying to balance a whole pragram by making laugh where there should be laugh. This need an objectiv view point. By getting this view point, he can get employed by producers of the programs because he is predictable and easy to use. And this leads him to saving his position he is supposed to be.
